Corporate social responsibility
Overall CSR policy:
As a business we are clearly focused on achieving commercial success, but we realise that the way in which we run our business has an economic, social and environmental impact. We have a CSR framework to ensure that we maintain the focus on achieving commercial success by incorporating ethical values, respect for people, communities and the natural environment into our business activities, culture and strategy.
Our CSR Group has full authority from our LLP Board to set, monitor and review a Pan European CSR strategy for the whole business. It is chaired by Richard Batten, Joint Senior Partner. The CSR Group is an umbrella forum acting as a focal point and conduit for CSR initiatives. The responsibility for implementing the CSR initiatives lies with each office – it is owned by each office. Sitting directly under the CSR Group is a network of CSR Co-ordinators nominated by each office across the whole of our business.
Under the new CSR framework we have identified seven stakeholder areas – the King Sturge CSR Pillars
- Business Ethics
- Charity
- Client Relations
- Community Relations
- Environment
- Our people
- Supplier Relations
Each King Sturge CSR Pillar has its own statement of principle, this sets out the commitment that we make to that particular stakeholder.
