King Sturge has come in at number 17 of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to work for.

This is the fourth year in a row we have entered and to have risen so dramatically over the period and remained in the top 20 for the past two years is an incredible achievement and testament to the firm's philosophy and ideals. The firm achieved an 88% positive score as a firm that staff would recommend others to join

This is an enormous achievement given that the competition gets harder each year with about 30% more entrants, equating to just under 150,000 employees being questioned from 650 companies for the 2007 survey. This result endorses the King Sturge ideology, with our staff judging the company to be in the top ten across each of the following categories:

  • The most recommended workplaces
  • Having confidence in colleagues
  • Least likely to leave

Richard Batten, Joint Senior Partner at King Sturge, who attended this year's gala dinner and received the award, said:

"We are enormously proud to be recognised by our staff and are constantly looking for ways to improve and build on these achievements. With the launch of our CSR policy, we hope to be seen as a company making a difference in years to come. This success is a product of the King Sturge 'one team, one culture' philosophy where fellowship is a core value."

The awards are determined by responses to a questionnaire sent to thousands of employees, in which they are asked to judge their firm’s leadership, teamwork, work/life balance, pay and benefits, training and career development and social responsibility.
